With the intention of enhancing research capabilities at Tokyo Institute of Technology, the Office of Research and Innovation will host a workshop in collaboration with Elsevier.

Description

Chem, a sister journal to Cell, provides a home for seminal and insightful research and showcases how fundamental studies in chemistry and its subdisciplines may help in finding potential solutions to the global challenges of tomorrow. Chem publishes work from across the chemical sciences and at the interfaces between chemistry and other disciplines.

About Lecturer: Vjekoslav Dekaris — Senior Editor Chem Journal

Vjekoslav studied chemistry and earned a PhD in organic synthesis at Freie Universität Berlin and did postdoctoral research at City University of New York and Princeton University in chemical biology. He commenced his professional career by working on the chemistry data and literature solution Reaxys. In 2016, he joined the Chem team as one of the inaugural scientific editors and mainly handles synthesis and catalysis, chemical biology, and polymer chemistry manuscripts.
