Use of the United States School of Energy Facilities

When an external researcher wishes to use the User Facility at the National Laboratories operated by the United States School of Energy, the researcher’s affiliated institution is required to conclude an agreement with Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

Facilities at the Brookhaven National Laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory

Tokyo Institute of Technology has concluded individual Non-Proprietary User Agreements regarding the use of the User Facility with Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL), Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab).

Facilities available for use at the above laboratories and an overview of the procedures for use are provided on the websites shown below.

As the above agreements require us to obtain information regarding use of above facilities by Tokyo Tech faculty, we ask individual faculty members who have received permission for use of any of the above laboratories to report the items shown below to our office at the address printed at bottom of this page.

  1. Affiliation, title, name of the person

Facilities at National Laboratories Operated by the United States School of Energy other than BNL, ORNL and Fermilab

Tokyo Tech faculty members wishing to use facilities operated by the United States School of Energy other than those described above are required to contact the relevant laboratory for permission. However, it may necessary for Tokyo Tech to conclude a Non-Proprietary User Agreement prior to actual use by the relevant faculty member. For this reason, we ask faculty members who have received permission for use of said facilities to contact us via the telephone or e-mail contact shown below.
